1 lb. ground beef
salt/pepper, onion powder
1 package puff pastry sheets
Cheddar cheese slices
Combine all ingredients except puff pastry and cheese. Form into small balls and press down with palm.
Cook in skillet turning over once.
Roll out thawed puff pastry sheet (one at a time). I rolled it out until it was quite thin, but able to be handled. Cut into 4 long strips and cut these into 4 pieces each.
Place burger in center of puff pastry and gather edges until it comes together on top, twist slightly. Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes (Mine took 25). They were slightly brown on the top
For those with cheese, cut the cheese into 1×1 inch pieces and place a piece of cheese on top of burger and then bring up puff pastry and twist.
