I shouldn’t have been surprised to hear from my brother last night since it was the anniversary of our mother’s birth. We talked for a long time and caught up on news in our lives and in the live of some of our cousins in California. It was good to hear from him and to know that all is well in his family.
There is a slight chance that I might see him in the summer if he is in North Carolina when I am in Virginia or he might go on a cruise with his wife along the Inland Passage and then they could fly from Juneau to Cordova. It would definitely be interesting if we can make this work.
Today was a busy day at school. The prom is tomorrow and we were trying to find dresses for some of the girls who needed them. We succeeded with two girls so I hope they wear them and have a good time.
It did snow in the night, but not much. It also snowed in the day, but the sun popped out and the snow is gone. It is that time of year when it doesn’t last so I don’t think there is much to worry about, but some of the kids were stressing over the snow. I am guessing it won’t last long.
We had a Mexican brass ensemble in the assembly today. They were really good and convinced me to go to their concert tonight. The kids were a pretty good audience too which was nice.
I am thankful for a good day and for the Lord’s provision.
God bless you.
