Recently I have been watching You Tube videos to learn some knitting techniques.  They are very interesting, but I have often wondered if the people who make them actually watch their own videos.

I watched one today that was interesting, but the woman demonstrated the technique one time only and I actually needed to see if more than that to actually get it.

Other videos show so much hand and so little needle and yarn that you can not figure out how to do the skill.  Still others do not get in close enough to understand the skill.

Maybe I am being picky and I might not be able to make a suitable teaching video of my own, but from my experience I know what I think should be included and what should not be included.

However, when it comes right down to it, I am thankful for these videos and the abundance of them on the Internet.  I can almost always find one that does what I need it to do and even if I have to search a little, I often discover other things I didn’t think about looking for.

Father, thanks for modern ways to help people learn.  It is amazing.  Amen.
