I love to laugh.

And today in Sunday School was a great day for laughing.  The other teacher and I were in stitches much of the time.  If it wasn’t one little girl reminding us that she had not had a turn in a very particular way, it was another little boy showing us he had shortened arms by pulling them in through his sleeves and giving us a big grin.

It doesn’t sound funny in the telling, but it was really funny in the actual moment.  We laughed and laughed.  It was a lot of fun.  And I think learning took place too as we talked about the Garden of Gethsemane.

I love to look for laughs.  They make everything feel better and they relieve tension in so many different situations.

Laughter really is one of the best medicines of all.  Look for the comical sides to life and let yourself laugh.  You’ll be glad you did.

Father, thank you for the gift of laughter.  Amen.
