Happy Valentine’s Day…
In my devotion time this morning I read about ways to show love and I was especially influenced by the idea of giving anonymously. I think this is a great idea as it puts so much less pressure or stress on the recipient to reciprocate. I don’t think everyone wants to do something for the giver, but I do think it crosses their mind.
The other nice thing about an anonymous gift is that you have such a nice surprise and it makes you feel extra special. I’m convinced I need to do this.
My biggest problem is how to accomplish it in my small town where everyone knows almost everybody else. I probably need an accomplice and that might make my plan work. I am definitely going to plan this and see how it turns out.
In the meantime, I’m going to try sending messages by text or phone or mail to encourage others and to make them feel God’s blessings.
Give it a try. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did.
Father, thank you for great ideas and the means to bring them to fruition. You are a great and glorious God. I am so blessed. Amen.
